It has not been long since Oppo entered the smartphone market – last year the company debuted its very first smartwatch, ‘Oppo Watch’. And today the company brings its successor, the Oppo Watch 2 to the market. Oppo Watch 2 is touted for a long battery life of up to 16 days. It brings the flagship Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 4100 SoC, AMOLED display, eSIM support, and many more exciting features. So, let us take you through the specifications, features, price, and availability of Oppo Watch 2 in Nepal
Design-wise, you will hardly get to see changes in this newly launched smartwatch. It retains the same squarish display from its predecessor followed by curved edges. However, there is an option in terms of size: 42mm and 46mm. The display is as big as a 1.91-inch for the 46mm variant, whereas 1.75-inch for the 42mm. It is an AMOLED panel with 402 x 476 pixels resolution and an imposing 326 PPI density. In addition, the display covers 100% of DCI-P3 color space.
The strap is built with soft silicone with a buckle design. However, you can also go for the calfskin version in case you are interested in it.
Oppo brings an impressive upgrade on the Oppo Watch 2 with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon Wear 4100. While on the other hand, the last year’s Oppo watch runs on Wear 3100. Qualcomm promises performance and graphics up to the mark with its latest offering. There is also a custom Apollo 4s co-processor that runs the show under Battery saving mode. The SoC here is teamed with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage. On the software front, it ships with ColorOS Watch 2.0.
Oppo Watch 2 brings a wide range of watch faces options and the exciting part is that you can customize the watch face using the pictures taken from your smartphone with the AI Wear dial feature. Oppo Watch 2 also provides eSIM support (4G) which means you can make/ receive calls, send/ receive messages with your smartwatch itself; you don’t need a smartphone anymore! Likewise, it has built-in GPS with the help of which you can navigate through your routes.
Furthermore, it also comes with an E-Game mode. As far as the battery is concerned, the 46mm model houses a 510mAh battery with up to 16 days of battery life using the Power Saver model. On the contrary, the 42mm model houses a sightly smaller 360mAh battery that can last up to 10 days. Similarly, the battery gets refill instantly using the VOOC 2.0 technology.
Oppo Watch 2 supports over 100 different sports modes coupled with some amazing safety features such as fall detection and one-key SOS emergency call. Moreover, it also includes health monitoring features include 24-hour heart rate detection, SpO2 monitoring, sleep tracking, blood pressure and blood glucose level monitor, etc.
The price of the Oppo Watch 2 is expected to start at INR 16,990 in India. Converting this price, we expect Oppo Watch 2 price to be set at NPR 29,999. After the launch, they will be available in stores like the Oliz store and authorized retail stores of Oppo.
