It has not been long since OnePlus entered the smartwatch market – only a few months back the company launched its very first smartwatch, ‘OnePlus Watch’. OnePlus Watch is touted for over 110 workout modes. As the smartwatch arrives in Nepal, the long wait has finally come to an end. So without any delay, let us take you through the specifications, features, price, and availability of the smartwatch in Nepal
There is a long story behind the OnePlus smartwatch design. It is said that the company went on from scratch after their first final design didn’t give satisfaction. The one we get to see is their second attempt and it looks pretty good. It brings a circular display that measures 46mm round and comes with a 1.39” 2.5D curved glass. As expected the display is AMOLED type.
The strap is built with fluoroelastomer material with a buckle design. There are two variants on the watch: Standard and Cobalt. The former comes with a stainless steel case in two beautiful colors namely Midnight Steel and Midnight Black while the latter comes with a cobalt alloy case in a single Golden color.
As mentioned earlier, the smartwatch offers over 110 workout modes including walking, marathon, swimming, freestyle training, hiking, and more. Moreover, it also includes health monitoring features include 24-hour heart rate detection, SpO2 monitoring, sleep tracking, stress detection, blood pressure and blood glucose level monitor, sedentary reminder, etc.
Apart from these features, the smartwatch can also be used to make calls, check app notifications, control your camera, control your OnePlus TV, etc. It automatically turns your TV off after detecting that you have fallen asleep for more than 30 minutes.
Moving on to the battery, it is loaded with a 402mAh cell battery. OnePlus promises the battery can last two weeks on a full charge. It supports warp charge allowing you to get 7 days back up on charging for just 20 minutes. On the software front, the OnePlus watch runs on an RTOS-based OS.
The price of the OnePlus watch in Nepal is set at NPR 23,990. The one available right now is the standard variant. You can get your smartwatch from the authorized stores across Nepal.

The company claims up to 14 days (2 weeks) battery backup between charges. Furthermore, you can get half of the battery plugging in the charger for just 20 minutes.
The smartwatch comes with an IP68 rating which can resist water up to 50 meters under the ISO standard 22810:2010. However, it is not suitable for hot water showers, sauna, hot springs, deep diving, or diving
Yes, it comes with a built-in GPS enabling you to easily track your workouts.
OnePlus ships with a buckle design strap that can be changed according to your choice. But the straps need to be purchased separately.
Unfortunately, OnePlus has only launched the standard model in Nepal for now. There is no news of the Cobalt Edition arriving in Nepal anytime soon.
