Summary

Nikon is one of the most popular camera brands in the world. Nikom manufactures many different camera models. One of those models is Nikon D3500. When compared to D3400, the D3500 is a cheaper and lighter camera with better battery life.

Overview

Nikon D3500 is a 24 MP camera. This camera uses an APS-C CMOS sensor. The ISO sensitivity range D2500 is 100-25,600 is also pretty wide but doesn’t improve on the D3400’s range.

It’s a bit disappointing to see this camera only has Full HD capture as even some smartphones offer 4K video features. It’s not all bad news, though, since the D3500 can shoot a smooth 30/25p and 24p also at 60/50p. Lower resolution recording options are also available in this camera.

The built-in monaural microphones in D3500 will need to be used as there is no microphone port. Someone looking to regularly shoot videos from their camera should not buy this phone.

The 3.0-inch display used by Nikon in this camera has a modest 921,000-dot resolution. The screen of the D3500 camera sits flush with the camera’s body. There is no touchscreen functionality in the camera, which is disappointing as most of this camera’s rivals do have touchscreen capabilities.

An optical viewfinder complements the rear display of this camera. Most photographers prefer this kind of viewfinder instead of the electronic viewfinder (EVF The coverage of 95% in the D3500’s optical viewfinder is standard for entry-level DSLRs, which is typical for an entry-level DSLR. You will have to worry about the creeping of elements that are unwanted into the edges of the frame.

The Bluetooth is present in this camera but not WiFi. The image transfer in this phone can be conducted using the SnapBridge feature in the Nikon camera.
