Description
Design & Display
Acer continued its minimalist design aesthetic with Acer Swift 3. It looks just as sleek as ever. The Lid houses a matte-silver finish with a polished reflective Acer logo on the back which is about as flashy as the laptop gets, and no wonder for some – that’s exactly what they’re looking for. Moving to the display, it has a 14-inches (1920×1080) FHD panel. The bezels are quite minimal. It weighs only 1.18kg which is relatively thinner than other laptops in this budget.
Performance and memory
In terms of performance, the laptop houses the latest 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor with a clock speed of up to 4.7GHz. It has 4 cores and 8 threads with enough power to handle challenging tasks with ease. Graphics rendering is done by the integrated Iris Xe graphics with shared graphics memory. The Swift 3 handles multimedia content creation pretty well for a system with 8GB of onboard LPDDR4X Memory RAM. In terms of storage, users get 256GB SSD.
Battery and Connectivity
The laptop has a large 56 Wh, 3 Cell Li-Ion battery. Thanks to the onboard power-efficient CPU, it should easily last over 8 – 9 hours. As for ports, Acer loaded up Swift 3 with 1 - USB Type-C Port USB 3.2 Gen 2 (up to 10 Gbps) DisplayPort over USB Type-C, Thunderbolt 4 & USB Charging 1 - USB 3.2 Gen 1 port (featuring power-off charging) 1 - USB 2.0 port 1 - HDMI port.
