Redmi 9 Power Unveiled in Nepal With a 6000 Mah Battery, This Is the Price and Features

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi 9 Power in Nepal with a 6,000 mAh battery capacity. The company has introduced a new smartphone with a 48-megapixel main camera and a setup of four cameras on the back.

Saurabh Kothari, Country General Manager of Xiaomi Nepal, said that this year has been unprecedented for Xiaomi Nepal. “As soon as Redmi 9 Power goes public, consumers will not have to compromise on their needs,” he said.

Camera

The Redmi 9 Power has a quad-camera set up with a 48-megapixel main camera. It has a Samsung GM One sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view.

It also has a two-megapixel macro camera and a two-megapixel depth sensor. The MiUI 12 on the phone makes movie frames, time-lapse, night mode, and color focus more effective in the camera app. The phone has an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies.

Battery:

The Redmi 9 Power is the company’s first smartphone with a powerful 6,000 mAh battery. The company claims that this phone can be used for two days on a single full charge.

The special battery used in the phone does not allow the increase in battery capacity to increase the weight of the smartphone. Redmi 9 Power has 18-watt fast charging support which can be charged for 30 minutes and used for  14 hours of video calling. The ELB (Enhanced Lifespan Battery) technology is said to increase the battery life up to 3 years.

Other Specifications

Redmi 9 Power is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor and a 6.53-inch Full HD Plus display. The Adreno 610 ensures vivid graphics to provide a great gaming experience on the phone.

The Redmi 9 Power comes with high-resolution audio authentication with stereo speakers for a power immersive multimedia experience. The phone is available in 4 GB RAM and 64 GB UFS and 4 GB RAM and 128 GB UFS storage.

The phone’s storage can be expanded up to 512 GB via a micro SD card. The front of the Redmi 9 Power is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass III to prevent scratches.

The splash-resistant coating with a rubberized port helps to minimize the damage caused by the phone falling out of the hand suddenly.

Design and Display

The phone has a 6.53-inch Full HD Plus display. The back of the Redmi 9 Power has a resistant texture to prevent finger stains.

It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature for security. It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Price and Availability

The Redmi 9 Power is available in four color variants: Mighty Black, Blazing Blue, Fairy Red, and Electric Green. It will be available in online and offline stores from January 11, according to Xiaomi Nepal.

As for the price of the phone, the Redmi 9 Power with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 18,999. Similarly, 4 GB storage and 128 GB variant is priced at Rs 20,999.
