Qualcomm Has Brought a New Chipset, Now Even Cheaper Phones Will Support 5G


Qualcomm has unveiled a new chipset with the aim of providing FiveG even on cheap phones. The company has unveiled a new chipset ‘Snapdragon 480 FiveG’ that supports high-speed internet even on cheap phones.

Earlier, Motorola had unveiled the ‘Mota G FiveG’ as the cheapest FiveG phone. It had a Snapdragon 750G processor. Its market value in the Nepali market was around 32 thousand rupees.

Similarly, OnePlus Nord and Vivo V20 also came as cheap smartphones like FiveG phones. But now, Qualcomm has unveiled the Snapdragon 480 FiveG chipset to support FiveG even for smartphones below Rs 20,000.

It is expected to help make high speed mobile internet accessible to all.
