OnePlus’s upcoming phone will come with MediaTek Dimensity 1200, and it could also be the successor to the Nord.
OnePlus already confirmed their two upcoming 5G devices. Both the devices Nord CE 5G and N200 5G are set to launch in the upcoming weeks. Here, the latest OnePlus leak indicates that the upcoming third device might be in the pipeline as well.
OnePlus Dimensity 1200 Phone Rumors:
The leak comes from the popular tipster Digital Chat Station. He suggests that OnePlus’ next premium offering will aspect MediaTek’s latest flagship chipset. To date, OnePlus has gone with Qualcomm for all of its phones. And this will be the first non-Snapdragon device from the company.
The information is gleaned from an engineering prototype. Similar to the OnePlus 9 series, The smartphone will have a left-aligned selfie cutout. However, it will ship with OxygenOS even in China, unlike the flagships.
The smartphone will possess a OnePlus 9 Pro-like camera module. Nevertheless, on the lower right instead of a camera lens, there will be a flash. The primary camera of this phone will be the 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor. It is the equivalent sensor in 9 Pro’s ultrawide camera.
Currently, we do not know the real moniker of the device. Yet in the past, there have been rumors of the OnePlus Nord 2 with Dimensity 1200.
