Nepal Investment Bank Limited (NIBL) has just launched “Paisa Pathaune” app using which Nepalese citizens staying in India can send money to anyone in Nepal at any time via their phone. Partnering with BankonUs in India, NIBL has made this service available. Nepalese citizens in India now can use this app as their digital wallet. The app is convenient, user-friendly, safe, and will be your companion even on bank holidays.
How does Paisa Pathaune App Work?
With some decent features, the app is designed in a way that is user-friendly and convenient. To use this app, the sender must have a bank account at any bank in India. Similarly, the receiver must have a bank account at any bank in Nepal. Interestingly, there is no compulsion that the receiver should have a bank account in NIBL. Customers from other banks can also receive money from this service. The fund is transferred to the receiver’s account directly through the remittance or ConnectIPS system.
Speaking of the transaction limit, you can transfer INR 50,000 per day and INR 6,00,000 per year. And you will be charged INR 150 per transaction as the service charge.
We think this is great news for the Nepalese citizens living in India. Do share this news with your Nepalese friends in India!
