iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro Set To Launch In Nepal

A few weeks ago Apple unveiled its much-awaited iPhone 12 series. But, the new iPhones were not available in the Nepalese. The wait is over now. Generation Next Communications (Genxt) is the authorized distributor of Apple’s electronic products in Nepal. They have announced that two phones of the iPhone 12 series, iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro will be made public to the Nepalese audience on December 11.iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro are available for pre-booking in Oliz store, EvoStore, and Futureworld. iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max are the other phones of the iPhone series. Genxt has announced that they will be available in the Nepalese market 10 days after the first two phones are made available. iPhone 12s are IP68 rated. they can be submerged in water and dust up to 6 meters for 30 minutes without any damage. But, you are not recommended to take them with you during a swim or a shower.

iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro are the direct successors of iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro respectively. These new phones are supposed to be upgrades from the previous phones. There are more similarities between the two phones than differences. Phones in the iPhone 12 series have beautiful curved design defined by their rounded corners. All of them have OLED panels that extend from edge to edge. All of them are powered by the Hexacore A14 Bionic Chip that is based on a 5nm process. This chipset was first used in iPad air. The iPhone 12 series uses 16 core next-generation neural engines from which you can expect 80% faster operations. The 16 cores of the neural engine are capable of computing 11 trillion operations per second and they also boost your performance by up to 80%. You can also expect up to 70% faster machine learning computations from iPhone 12’s second-generation ML accelerators. These phones have a lithium-ion battery that supports 15W MagSafe wireless charging 7.5W Qi wireless charging. You have to buy the chargers separately when buying any of the iPhone 12s.

One of the features the new iPhones had to have is the 5G connectivity. Without 5G connectivity, the iPhone 12s would have a hard time competing against its rivals. iPhone 12s support mmWave 5G as well as mid-band 5G. mmWave 5G has better speed but you’ll need to be near a 5G tower to use it. Mid-band 5G has a lower speed but a better range. In normal conditions, the speed of the 5G internet on the iPhone 12 will be around 1Gbps. The smart data mode is a feature present in every phone of the iPhone 12 series. This feature automatically switches your phone from 5G to 4G and vice-versa based on the apps you use.

iPhone 12

For iPhone 12’s frame, aerospace-grade aluminum has been used. The Super Retina XDR Display of iPhone 12 measures 6.1 inches diagonally. Camera

The iPhone 12 camera also has features like Lens correction (ultra-wide), Advanced red‑eye correction, and auto image stabilization. iPhone 12’s front camera is 12 MP and has an f/2.2 aperture.

Instead of aluminum, iPhone 12 Pro is built with “surgical grade” stainless steel. iPhone 12 Pro has 5.78 inches of height, 2.82 inches of width, 0.29-inch of depth, and weighs 189 grams. It measures 6.1 inches diagonally. iPhone 12 Pro has a pixel count of 2532 x 1170 at 460 PPI. iPhone 12 Pro has a larger display compared to that of iPhone 11 pro but both of the smartphones have a similar footprint.

Camera
