ZTE’s latest flagship phone, the Axon 30 Ultra, competes with smartphones such as the iPhone 12 series and the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and, which will be available in Nepal shortly. Moreover, ZTE has officially confirmed the launch of ZTE Blade A71, and the launch of Blade X1 5G, Blade 11 Prime are also expected in Nepal.
Along with Motorola and Nokia, Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment (ZTE) Corporation is one of the oldest mobile phone manufacturers in the world. They have been manufacturing telecommunications equipment, smartphones, and more. It officially set foot in the Nepali market in 2016. Unfortunately, It left the competition a few years ago.
However, ZTE is officially returning to Nepal through a new authorized distributor named Apex Group Pvt. Ltd. It will be joining the market with its Blade and Axon series of mid-range and flagship smartphones.
ZTE Blade A71 Overview
Display and Design
Unlike Axon 30 Ultra, The ZTE Blade A71 flaunts a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display (resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels) with a V-shaped notch on top. The slim body of the Blade A71 adds to its comfortable design. The panel has a screen-to-body ratio of 90.5%. It has the same aspect ratio of 20:9 and Pixel Density of 404 PPI.
Compared with its other model, ZTE has made few changes in terms of design. The ZTE Blade A71 houses a triple camera setup at the back for photos and videos. It has got a slim design. The plus point is that the device has a beautiful bezel-less display with a waterdrop notch and Multi-touch Capacitive Touch Screen. It also features LED Flash. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor or face detection for secure authentication of biometric data. The device is available in three color options: grey, green and blue.
Performance and Memory
Talking about the processor, the device is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 MT6765. PowerVR GE8320 handles the graphical performance of the system. On the other hand, The smartphone packs 64GB internal memory which is used for storing user data, files, apps, games and more. The inbuilt storage capacity of the smartphone is 64GB and offers an expandable storage capacity of up to 256GB via a microSD card. The smartphone is packed with the Android v10 (Q) operating system.
For photography and videography, the smartphone comes with a triple camera setup on the back. The camera configuration includes a 16MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle, and a 2MP depth sensor. Over on the front, the phone features an 8MP selfie camera with a screen flash for selfies and video chats.

In terms of battery, the Blade A71 is fueled by a 4000mAh cell. The battery is Lithium-ion type and is non-removable in nature. It holds up fast charging via the USB Type-C port. In terms of connectivity options, the smartphone supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, mass storage device, USB charging, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS with A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack on the bottom edge as well.

After its launches in Nepal, it may appear on ecommerce sites such as Daraz. We expect the price of Blade A71 to start at NPR. 20,000 for the base variant (6/64GB).
