ZTE adds a new member to the Axon 30 Series with the launch of the standard Axon 30 in China. The company has already launched the Axon 30 Pro and Axon 30 Ultra under this series. Unlike the two, this is the toned-down version but still packs top-notch specs. The most highlight is it offers full-screen sporting the new under-display camera. To learn more, let us have a quick look at the specifications, features, expected price, and availability of ZTE Axon 30 5G in Nepal.
ZTE Axon 30 5G Overview
Display and Design
To begin with, ZTE Axon 30 boasts a huge 6.92-inch Full-screen display. The OLED panel has a razor-sharp resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It retains the same 120Hz refresh rate as the pro version which helps in flawless interaction. To level up your gaming experience, the handset ships with a 360Hz touch sampling rate. It supports 100% DCI P3 color gamut and 10-bit color depth- enjoy your favorite series and gaming with an impressive display. Also, it comes with an eye-protection certification from TUV, SGS, and UL. In addition to this, there is also a DC Dimming feature that essentially controls the brightness.
Around the back, it sports a rectangular camera module encased on an appealing rear panel. The glass panel at the back is replaced by a 3D polymer shell in the new Axon 30. On its top, it has a nano-level glow texture for that shiny finish. Users get 2 beautiful color options in this device – Black and Aqua. For security purposes, there is a fingerprint scanner underneath the display.
Speaking of the processor, the device ships with the Snapdragon 870 5G chipset from Qualcomm. The chipset runs on a 7nm platform and can proficiently handle workload and multitasking. Likewise, graphics handling is done by Adreno 650 GPU. On the software side, the phone is packed with MyOS 11 which is based on Android 11.
Axon 30 comes with 3 RAM variants options- 6GB , 8GB and 12GB RAM. The 6GB and 12GB RAM variant is teamed with 128GB and 256GB of internal storage respectively. However, the 8GB RAM is coupled with both 128GB and 256GB of secondary storage. It does not provide a dedicated card slot for expanding the phone’s storage. Expanding storage is possible only at the expense of a SIM card so it’s your call.
Speaking of the camera on this phone, it flaunts a quad-camera array at the back where you get a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a last 2MP depth lens. The camera setup can record high-resolution 4K video up to 60fps and 1080p video at 30fps.
Coming to the main highlight of ZTE Axon 30, the under-display selfie camera, which will bring an unprecedented experience to the users. It has also come up with some healthy upgrades to fix the low resolution and transmittance issue in the Axon 20 5G. The under-display camera is 16MP and brings an independent display chip for better display.
Battery and Extras
Moving to the battery, it is the same 4200mAh battery that fuels the Axon 30 Pro. Similarly, it comes with a USB Type-C port that also supports 55W fast charging. You can top up your battery in a few minutes. Sadly, it lacks the 3.5mm headphone jack and FM Radio feature in this device. Other highlights include next-generation 5G connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C 3.1, Quick Charge 4+, etc.
