Xiaomi debuted Mi 11 series along with Mi Band 6 in the Global Mega Launch event held recently on March 29. Mi 11 Ultra Overview
Display and Design
Firstly for display, here you get a huge 6.81 inch AMOLED display that comes with an impressive resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. The refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz will take your gaming experience to the next level. To protect the device from scratches and minor drop it comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The display can support up to 1B colors and also has an IP68 rating for dust and splash protection. The device is 8.5mm thick and weighs 234g but doesn’t feel heavy on hands.
It comes with a premium design- the display screen is curved and has a unique camera set-up. The design appears to be similar to the Mi 11 Pro. It sports a rectangular camera bump right at the top placed horizontally on the back of the phone. The LED light is spotted at the right corner of the camera module. At the front, the device has a left-aligned circular notch where it flaunts its selfie camera. The device comes in 2 color options- Ceramic White and Ceramic Black It has a quick responsive under-display fingerprint scanner.
Performance and Memory
Mi 11 Ultra possesses the latest Snapdragon 888 chipset from Qualcomm. The chipset is combined with Adreno 660 that handles the graphics in this phone. The user can now play graphically demanding games in high settings without any lags and shuttering. The chipset can attain a 708,164 AnTuTu v8 score which is impressive. It paks with MIUI 12.5 which is based on Android 11.
Moving on to the memory, the phone comes with 8GB and 12GB RAM variants. The 8GB variant comes with 256GB internal storage while the 12GB variant offers an option of 256GB and 512GB internal storage. It does not offer a card slot so expanding phone storage is not possible on this device. However, the already decent 256GB storage should be able to handle and store all your apps, photos, and video loads.
No doubt Xiaomi has come up with a completely different camera module in this device. At the back, Mi 11 Ultra has a rectangular camera bump where it flaunts its triple camera array. The camera array includes a 50MP wide camera, a 48MP periscope telephoto lens, and a last 48MP ultrawide camera. Interestingly, Mi 11 Ultra comes with a rear selfie- The selfie game now will be more powerful as you can adjust your pose anytime from the small window at the back. The periscope telephoto lens here can support 5X optical zoom, 10X hybrid zoom, 120X digital zoom, and OIS. For video recording, Mi 11 Ultra can shoot 8k video at 240 fps, 4k video up to 60 fps, 1080p video up to 60fps video recording. Similarly, the selfie shooter here records 1080p video at up to 60fps and 720p at 120fps video recording.

This device is fueled with a 5000 mAH battery that offers a pretty long battery life. The company has introduced an extreme mode where a 10% battery life limit for 55 hours. However, in this mode, users can only read, make and receive important calls, and respond to emergencies. It supports 67W fast charging and as advertised the battery gets 100% charged in just 36 min. Also, via fast wireless charging the battery gets 100% charged in just 39 min. It supports USB Type-C 2.0 port that supports 4+ quick charge and 3.0 power delivery. Other highlights include stereo speakers, wireless microphone, NFC, Multi-size ID photo, 3.5mm headphone jack, Intelligent text recognition, ambient light sensor, Xiao Ai Simultaneous Interpretation, face unlock, Bluetooth 5.2, under-display fingerprint scanner, etc.

The price for the Mi 11 Ultra is CNY 5,999 which is estimated to be NRs. 1,20,000 in Nepal for 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. Likewise, it costs CNY 6,499 (estimated NRs. 1,30,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, and CNY 6,999 (estimated Rs. 1,40,000) for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. You will be able to buy the phone in Daraz and Sastodeal after the launch in Nepal.
