Just like most smartphones from Xiaomi, the smartphone offers a big screen of 6.81 inches with a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. We can find the AMOLED HDR10+ display in the new Mi 11 with an imposing aspect ratio of 20:9. Mi 11 has the screen protected by the newest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and the back by the Gorilla Glass 5.
The phone has a premium design at the back where we can spot a triple camera setup at the top of its left corner accompanied by the Dual-LED flash on its side. Interestingly, the device includes an in-display fingerprint sensor that can even read your heart rate accurately as other smartwatch does. The phone sports its selfie camera at the very top of its left corner.Â
Performance and Memory
The phone is powered by the latest chipset from Qualcomm, SM8350 Snapdragon 888 5G chipset paired with Adreno 660 GPU. The phone runs the latest version of Android, Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 at the top. Talking about Adreno 660 GPU, it performs 35% faster than its processor. As the phone is powered by a powerful processor we can expect exceptional performance from this phone. To deal with the heating issues in the phone, Xiaomi has included the VC LiquidCool Technology that avoids phones from being overheated.
Speaking of memory, the phone comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. There are also other variants with 8GB RAM 256GB internal storage and 12GB RAM 256GB internal storage. Sadly, there is no dedicated slot for a microSD card.
Camera
When it comes to the camera, the phone features a triple camera set-up at the back including a 108MP primary camera accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide lens and a 5MP macro lens. The rear camera also supports other features like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus. For selfies and video chats, the phone supports a 20MP front camera. The phone can support 8K at 30 fps, 4K at 60 fps, and 1080p up to 240 fps video recording on the rear camera. And at the front, it can support 1080p at 60 fps and 720p up to 120 fps.
Battery and Extras
This smartphone is fueled by a 4,600mAh non-removable battery that supports a USB Type-C port with 55W fast charging. As advertised the phone can charge 100% in just 53 min. Keep note that the phone also supports 50W fast wireless charging and 10W reverse charging. Talking about the color options, the phone offers 5 different colors- Horizon Blue, Cloud White, Midnight Gray, Special Edition Blue, Gold, Violet. There is no FM radio supported on this phone. But the Xiaomi Mi 11 does support face unlock.Â
