Adding up to its S series, Vivo debuts S9e after the successful launch of Vivo s9 in the market. The flagship offering from Vivo looks impressive at this price range and the specs look almost the same in both except for the processor, battery, and the selfie camera. It is a toned-down version of Vivo S9 which we have already covered in our previous post. To explore more on S9e let’s see the specs, features, price, and availability of Vivo s9e in Nepal.
Vivo s9e Overview
Display and Design
Here the display includes a 6.44 inches AMOLED panel that has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Like S9 it also comes with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz which is underwhelming for the smartphone of this price tag. The display has realistic color details so that you can experience the true colors of the world. It has peak brightness up to 1300 nits brightness and 91.04% screen-to-body ratio. Also, the display has an eye care certification and HDR 10+ support. Sadly, the display does not have protection glass to protect it from minor drops.
Vivo s9e also features a premium design with a shiny gradient metallic back cover. Just like most Vivo phones, the camera module stays the same here- its triple cameras are arranged to form a therefore sign The LED flash is placed just beneath the camera but within the same camera module. The “Vivo” labeling is beautifully encrypted on the back in the vertical arrangement. Unlike S9, the dual selfie cameras are missing in this phone. But the single selfie camera is spotted on a waterdrop notch just like in S9. It is available in three color options- Black, White, Starry Blue
Performance and Memory
Speaking of the processor, the device is shipped with MediaTek MT6875 Dimensity 820 5G (7 nm) chipset that supports a next generation 5G speed. The graphics are handled by Mali-G57 MC5 GPU. So performance-wise, S9 is way powerful as it is loaded with the latest MediaTek MT6891Z Dimensity 1100 5G (6 nm) chipset. The heat dissipation is managed by the VC cooling system so that the device does not overheat on heavy use. Speaking of the software S9e comes with Android 11 that is based on OriginOS 1.0.
As far as the memory is concerned, the device is available in two RAM configurations- 8GB and 12GB RAM. 8GB RAM is packed with 128GB internal storage and the 12GB variant with 256GB internal storage. The SD card slot is missing here but the storage available can easily bear up the load of your heavy files and apps.
It also features a triple-camera array at the back including a 64MP primary wide camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth camera. The camera setting allows you to click clear and detailed pictures both during day and night. For clicking detailed selfies, it comes with a 32MP front shooter- enjoy your Selfie game! For video recording, it supports 4K video at 30fps and 1080p video at 30fps on the rear cameras. On the front side, the selfie camera can record 1080p video at 30fps. You can also capture your moment at motion with the EIS stabilization available on the lens.
