The design of the Redmi 9T is not that apart from other low-cost devices on the market. On the top, there is a notch in the shape of a waterdrop. The logo on the bottom chin of the Redmi 8 has been removed by Redmi.
The Redmi 9T is equipped with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD FULL HD Dot Drop display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. Performance and Memory
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 processor (11nm) is at the heart of this device that helps you to enjoy a seamless performance while playing intense graphics games and accessing multiple apps. The phone runs on the Android v10 (Q) operating system with MIUI 12. The graphics in this phone is handled by Adreno 610.
On the memory side, the smartphone packs with 4/6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. Plus, there is also a dedicated slot for a microSD card that helps you to expand your phone storage if needed.
Surprisingly, the 64GB storage option employs the UFS 2.1 protocol, whilst the 128GB variant uses the faster UFS 2.2 standard.
Camera
When it comes to the cameras, the back has a quad-lens arrangement. A 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor lead the way. The teardrop notch on the front houses an 8MP front camera. The Redmi 9T sports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for added security.
Features on the rear camera setup include Auto Flash, Face detection, Digital Zoom, Touch to focus.
Battery and Connectivity
The smartphone is powered by a large 6000mAh battery that enables 18W fast charging through USB Type-C. Thankfully, a 22.5W fast charger is included in the packaging. The phone also has Hi-Res certified stereo speakers, an IR blaster, and other features.
For connectivity, this smartphone has Wi-Fi 802.11, a/ac/b/g/n/n 5GHz, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth v5.0. Moreover, sensors on the smartphone might include Compass, Acceleration, Proximity.
