Realme Narzo 30 5G Launched with Dimensity 700 SoC and 90Hz Display

At an online event held today in India, Realme launches the Narzo 30 5G in the market alongside the 4G variant. Both variants feature a 90Hz refresh rate, 48MP Nightscape camera, and 5000mAh camera. However, they do vary in some aspects which we will find out through this post. So, let’s get started.

Realme Narzo 30 5G Overview

Display and Design

Here the device is equipped with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel. It’s an FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Unlike the Pro version, the refresh rate is limited to 90Hz with an aspect ratio of 20:9. Realme Narzo 30 5G comes with a different design than what is seen in Narzo 30 Pro. It features a V-speed design that originates from the very top of the rear panel, passes through the camera module, and ends at the bottom of the panel. The device sports its rear cameras on a vertically elongated camera module and selfie camera left aligned on a circular notch. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and is available in Racing Blue and Racing Silver colors.

Performance and Memory

Realme Narzo 30 5G is equipped with a 7nm Dimensity 700 5G chipset from MediaTek that carries legendary power. The octa-core CPU is packed with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It runs on Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 on top.

As for the memory options, it comes with 4GB and 6GB RAM configurations. However, they pack the same 128GB internal storage. The phone’s storage can be expanded up to 1 TB by using an SD card

Camera

Realme Narzo 30 5G also features a triple-camera array at the back where you get a 48MP primary camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a last  2MP depth camera which was missing in Narzo 30 Pro. The rear camera offers features like Portrait mode, Pro mode, Panorama, Tilt-shift mode, Nightscape, Video HDR, Video Portrait, Timelapse, and more. For capturing selfies and making video calls, there is a 16MP front camera provided. The camera set-up allows decent-quality video recording. It can record 1080p video on both the rear and front camera at 30fps.

Battery and Extras

Reame Narzo 30 5G is powered by a 5000mAh battery that lasts for hours. Furthermore, the Super Power Saving Mode gives you a longer power backup even at a critical battery level. It supports a USB Type-C port that supports 18W Dart charging for a faster battery recovery. Other highlight includes dual-band wifi, 3.5mm headphone jack, responsive side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.1, etc.

Realme Narzo 30 5G is available in India at the price of INR 15,999. When Realme brings this device to Nepal, we expect Realme Narzo 30 5G price to set at NPR 29,999 for a 6/128GB variant.
