After launching Moto G10 Power, Motorola is back with another mid-ranger phone- Moto G50. It is arriving soon in Nepal with the next generation 5G speed. Let us have a quick look at Motorola Moto G50 specs, features, expected price, and availability in Nepal.
Moto G50 Overview
Display and Design
Like Moto G10 Power, you get a 6.5 inches IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The screen here refreshes at 90Hz which is acceptable for smartphones of this price range. Unfortunately, the phone does not come with any protection in the front and back so it’s better to use good Tempered glass to protect your screen.
On the design side, the phone has a shiny glossy body that is smooth to touch. On the top, we can spot a rectangular camera bump where it features its rear cameras. The LED flash can be spotted in the same camera module. Interestingly, the device is built with a water-repellent design, so you don’t need to worry much about the accidental splashes and spills on your phone. Like most traditional smartphones, it has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone weighs 192 g and is 9mm- so it doesn’t feel heavy on hands. It is available in two colors- Steel Grey and Aqua Green.
Performance and Memory
Powering the phone with a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G processor, the phone has a decent performance. The phone packs an Adreno 619 GPU that handles the graphics in this device. Talking about the software it runs the latest version of Android, Android 11.
On the memory side, the users get a single 4GB RAM on this device which is coupled either with 64GB or 128GB internal storage. It does not come with a dedicated microSD card. However, expanding the phone’s storage is possible but at the expense of the SIM slot.
Moving on to the camera, there is a rectangular notch for the camera set-up where the phone features its triple cameras vertically arranged at the back. It includes a 48MP primary camera accompanied by a 5MP macro camera and a 2MP depth camera. Speaking of the camera at the front, Moto G50 supports a 13MP front camera for detailed close-ups selfies, and video calls. Other camera features include Pro mode, Portrait mode, High-res zoom, Gesture selfie, Spot color, etc. As far as the videos are concerned, both the rear and front camera can record 1080p videos up to 60 fps.
Battery and Extras
Fueling the device with a massive 5000mAh battery, the phone offers an exceptional battery life. It supports a USB Type-C port with 15W fast-charging. Other features include Single Speaker with smart PA, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 2 microphones, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, voice control, etc. It is said that the phone will also support FM radio.
