Realme Book Slim launched with 2K display, 11th-gen Intel Core Chips

Realme has finally announced its first-ever Ultrabook, called the Realme Book Slim in the Indian PC market. The brand new Realme Book Slim is not only the first laptop from Realme, it is also the BBK-owned company’s first laptop, such as those from OnePlus, Vivo, Oppo, and iQOO.

According to the company, this laptop is a high-quality product, and to justify its claims, the device was compared with both the Apple MacBook Pro and the MacBook Air at the launch event. This laptop is one of the few laptops that comes with a 2K display and has twice as many pixels as a Full-HD regular laptop. But, looking back, Realme is taking on the currently launched RedmiBook 15 Pro at its estimation price.

Realme Book Slim Overview:

Design and Display

To begin with, Realme Book Slim flaunts a 14-inch 2K Full Vision IPS display with 2160 x 1440 pixels resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio. This screen has 100% sRGB color space and up to 400 nits of brightness. The bezels around the screen are slim. The laptop comes with a backlit keyboard that has a 1.3mm key distance.

Moreover, it packs an all-metal build with 14.9mm of thinness. It also contains a large multi-touch trackpad with Windows Precisions drivers. Users can get the Realme Book Slim in two color options — Real Blue and Real Grey.

Performance and Memory

The laptop is powered by the Intel Core i5-1135G7 CPU paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and internal storage of 512GB PCIe SSD. It also comes with another variant – an Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor which is coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

All the graphics tasks are rendered by integrated Intel Iris Xe GPU on the i5 variant and on the other hand, it is handled by Intel UHD graphics on the i3 model. For thermals, Realme Book Slim is packed with dual-heat pipes and a dual-fans setup.

Battery and Connectivity

The laptop is fueled with a 54Whr battery that supports 65W charging with the help of a USB Type-C port. The company claims that in just 30 mins it can go from 0 to 50%. Furthermore, the laptop also comes with a feature called PC Connect that seamlessly connects Realme smartphone and laptop. 

In terms of I/O, Realme Book Slim also brings two USB-C, one USB-A 3.1 Gen 1 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. However, The i5 variant gets Thunderbolt 4 support as well. For wireless connectivity, on the Core i3 variant, there is Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 5 whereas the Core i5 model comes with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 support. Over on the audio, it has a Harman stereo speaker setup with DTS HD.

Realme Book Slim Price and Availabilityin Nepal 

From August, Realme Book Slim will be available in India at the price of  INR 46,999 and INR 59,999 for the i3 and the i5 variant respectively. In Nepal, we expect the price of Realme Book Slim to start at approx. NPR 80,000.
