Chinese manufacturing company, Xiaomi has expanded its laptop lineup with the launch of the new Mi Notebook Pro X 15. The company has unveiled this device as the premium offering from the brand. Mi Notebook Pro X 15 features an OLED display, 11th Generation Intel Core Processors, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics, and fast charging support. Design and Display

Here, the company has provided a 15.6-inch Samsung E4 OLED display with 3.5k (3,456 x 2,160 pixels) resolution. It also supports DC dimming, DCI-P3 color gamut, and 100 percent sRGB. Also, the display can shine as bright as 600 nits. Mi Notebook Pro X 15 comes with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 261ppi of pixel density, and a Corning Gorilla Glass on top for protection. 

On the design side, the 15.6-inch display is surrounded by narrow bezels thus offering a wider display area. It sports a full-size backlit keyboard with a key travel of 1.3mm. The built-in ambient light sensor helps to adjust the keyboard lighting as required. The dimensions are 348.9×240.2×18.47mm and the Notebook measures 1.9kg in terms of weight.

Performance

Moving to the processor, the device houses an 11th Generation Intel Core gaming processor with i5 and i7 variants. The base model comes with a Core i5-11300H processor teamed with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. The high-end variant on the other hand comes with a Core i7-11370H teamed with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage. Likewise, the gaming processor is coupled with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics.

Battery and Extras

As far as the battery is concerned, the new Mi Notebook Pro X 15 is fueled by an 80Whr battery that can deliver a total of 11.5 hours of video playback as claimed by the company itself. In addition, the device comes with a 130W USB Type-C power adapter that can boost your charge up to 50% in just 25 minutes. 

Furthermore, connectivity options in the Mi Notebook Pro X 15 include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, a USB Type-C, Thunderbolt 4 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an HDMI 2.1 interface. For biometrics, there is also a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power key. The device also sports a 720p webcam to assist you with video conferencing and video calls. Lastly, in the audio department, Xiaomi has offered four speakers backed by DTS audio and a 2×2 microphone array.

If it launches here, the price of Mi Notebook Pro X 15 is expected to start from NPR 1,53,999 (~CNY 7,999) for the base variant (Core i5, 16+512GB). On the other hand, the top-of-the-line Mi Notebook Pro X 15 (Core i7, 32GB+1TB) might cost NPR 190,999. Both variants might be available in the authorized Xiaomi shops and online.
