ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE (2021) With RTX 3080 is Available in Nepal

Design and Display:

Firstly, the design of the ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE is fairly simple and the body is made of magnesium-aluminum alloy which does a pretty good job to repel fingerprints. It has a line going across the back panel. Below the line, it has a pattern texture whereas above the line it has a matte black finish with the ASUS ROG logo slapped on the back. This time ASUS did not include RGB on the logo which is pretty rare.

The primary IPS screen has a size of 15.6 inches and a 4K Ultra HD resolution of 3840 x 2160 which is massive in terms of quality. Also, it has a 120Hz refresh rate paired with a 3ms response time for smooth and lag-free gaming.

Talking about the secondary screen, it is located below the primary screen and above the keyboard compartment and has a 14” 4K touchscreen IPS display. The screen lifts up as you lift up the laptop screen and also gives a better airflow which is pretty nice to add. With all this thing packed into 1, it weighs only 2.48kg and is 20.9mm thick. For the keyboard, you will be getting Backlit Chiclet Keyboard with RGB Backlight and a touchpad attached right into it that can also be changed to a number pad with a dedicated button. Sadly, the webcam is not available on the laptop that you have to get separately.

Having a dual-screen really boosts up your productivity by a fair margin and you can game and use other applications like Spotify, youtube, etc. at the same time. But you will be sacrificing your hand rest area just for that extra screen which really sucks.

Furthermore, the Zephyrus Duo 15 SE (2021) supports up to 48GB RAM but comes with a total of 32GB DDR4 RAMwith 3200MHz pre-installed. From that 32GB, 16GB RAM is glued to the board whereas the other 16GB RAM stick is replaceable. To store your games and software you will be getting 1TB M.2 NVME PCIe 3.0 SSD also you can add another SSD or HDD in the next PCIe slot.

Battery, Connectivity, and Ports

With the battery compartment, the laptop is juiced by a Lithium-Ion 4-Cell 90Whr battery with 240W fast charging. The fast charger can charge your device up to 50% in just 30 minutes on idle as advertised. In terms of connectivity, the ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. For the audio, it consists of two 4W speakers with Smart Amp, two 2W tweeters, and the built-in array microphone.

With the laptop, you will be getting one 3.5mm Audio Jack, one HDMI 2.0, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 type-A ports, one display/power delivery port, one LAN port, one microSD card reader, and lastly one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port.
