Realme Buds Air 2 Neo Overview:

Among all, Realme Buds Air 2 Neo is the most affordable TWS on the Nepali market to come with Active Noise Cancellation. With that out of the way, let’s discover more about the Buds Air 2 Neo.

Design

The first thing that grabs our attention is its design. While the original Buds Air Neo look-like Buds Air, its successor looks a lot like the Buds Q. That is, it comes with a charging case designed like a pebble and earbuds like Galaxy Buds. The charging case consists of an LED on the front and has an inner button for pairing with a phone for the first time.

To provide a better seal around the ear the buds come with ear tips. The Buds Air 2 Neo lacks a corporate logo on the touch-sensitive area like the Buds Q. A rainbow-like motif replaces it, which seems much better.

Features

Coming to the features, the highlight here is the presence of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). When enabled, Realme claims that it can decrease the volume by up to 25dB. There is also dual-mic Environment Noise Cancelling (ENC) that operates when you are on a call with someone. Moreover, the Transparency Mode allows you to talk to others without having to take the earbuds off.

In terms of audio, the Realme Buds Air 2 Neo has a 10mm Liquid Crystal Polymer driver. Collaborating with the Bass Boost+ algorithm, it attempts to deliver deeper bass and clearer stereo. However, you may need to manually enable the AAC HD audio codec for the algorithm to operate.

These earbuds are powered by the custom Realme R2 chip. It is alike a chipset powering the more expensive Realme Buds Air 2, and also the reason the cheaper Air 2 Neo gets the same ANC and 88ms latency mode. The earbuds come with the latest Bluetooth v5.2 and also hold up quick pairing.

It has a gaming mode that promises latency as low as 88ms. It can be enabled from the Realme Link app.

Battery

Each earbud features a 40mAh battery that may last up to 5 hours on a single charge. The number is similar to the more expensive Realme Buds Air 2. Together with the 480mAh battery of the charging case, Realme claims up to 20 hours of runtime with ANC. Disabling the feature results in an even longer battery backup of up to 28 hours.

It is simple to check the remaining battery. Realme says when you connect the earphone with a phone, battery information will pop-up on the screen.
